Authentic Stories from Diners
Great Japanese-style food with good quality and presentation. The fried rice was flavorful, not too oily, and very satisfying. The ramen (tsukemen style) was the highlight — thick noodles, rich dipping broth, perfectly cooked egg, and tasty pork. Nice Japanese vibe and well-presented dishes. Definitely a good place for a relaxed meal.
Really good food. Lovely staff, so welcoming and nice, and they took the time to explain how to eat the Tsukemen, which is had never had before. Food was Rich in flavor. Similar concept as OPPA, but Way more comfortable Seats!
We decided to come to try this restaurante on out first night at El Nido, encouraged by the good Google reviews and it didn't disappointed us. The food was amazing, fresh flavourful and well presented. We ordered the seafood Yaki soba, spicy tuna sushi and takoyaki, everything was delicious! Staff was very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended we will definitely come back before we leave!
Disappointing on every level. Food quality was very low - first time i had received frozen sashimi of this quality in my life. Gave them a chance of redemption - but they couldn’t care less. I do my best not to write disappointing reviews about places - but this was too much. Not recommended.
December 15, 2025. This is the last day of my 2025 El Nido trip and suddenly I passed by this woodstyled Japanese restaurant named Osaka Castle. Their ramen and salmon maki is chef’s kiss! The service is great, plus the ambience overlooking the narrow busy road at night where tourists pass by is a cinematic sight to behold. An authentic japanese resto at the heart of El Nido. A perfect combination of warmth and comfort at the end of my trip. ‘Til my next visit. Agyamanak!
