Happiness Beach Bar

Jhaz was very lovely and positive from the beginning, greeting us at the front. As they are located in a very busy area with lots of other restaurants, it was hard to choose a spot to eat however, Jhaz was welcoming and had wonderful service. If you want an up beat environment, this is the place to go, music is loud and lovely. Food is different in a good way too! If you want to try something new, come check this place out especially during happy hour - the frozen calamansi daiquiris are soooo good.

The initial reception was friendly, but the overall service and experience were disappointing. There is a clear and significant issue with the menu description. The menu states that the dish comes with French fries, but what was served were potato chips. When this was pointed out to one of the servers, the response was that these were their “house-made French fries,” which is simply incorrect. No alternative or solution was offered, and the issue was dismissed rather than addressed. When our food arrived, I immediately ordered an additional dish. The reaction from the server gave the impression that the order was unwelcome, which is not what one expects as a customer. The food itself is average. Not bad, but not remarkable. Additionally, we were informed of a 3% extra charge for card payments only when requesting the bill. This should be clearly disclosed upfront, not at the moment of payment when the customer no longer has a choice. Nearby establishments do not apply this type of charge. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience and does not meet the standards suggested by the restaurant’s overall rating.

Came here for a quick bite after getting off the ferry. The Chicken shawarma wrap and Hummus shawarma were delicious would give the food a 4/5. Fresh juices are also really good. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nicole gave us great recommendations! Overall recommend visiting and with the vibes and service 5/5

Happiness Beach Bar was one of the highlights of our trip! We enjoyed the lively atmosphere, refreshing cocktails, and flavorful falafel and hummus. Our server, Hanna, and the bartenders were warm and welcoming. The decor is relaxing and the swings at the bar were a fun touch. We'd highly recommend for a date night out in El Nido!

Really good food spot. Super speedy and attentive service (thanks Nicole)! Stopped by before a transfer on limited time and were fed and replenished on the dot. Great shakes and coffee, the curry shashuka is a must-try.
